The Harrison Group, Inc., is a third-party administrator, specializing in Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). For more than 30 years, The Harrison Group has been offering employers practical solutions and complimentary benefits plan consulting, with one overarching goal….to save them money.
We work closely with brokers and clients to design, implement and administer affordable programs that offer flexibility, while also being responsive to individual requirements.

Our Founder & President
Richard H. Miller, Jr., CPA, began his professional career as an accountant with Hoyt, Devine & Company, CPA’s. After working primarily with closely-held businesses for four years, he served as a Controller and Financial Vice President. He then founded The Harrison Group, Inc. in May 1985 as a fee-only financial planning organization. In 1987 the firm began to establish Section 125 Plans for clients. Since then, The Harrison Group, Inc. has evolved into a firm that provides technical consulting and benefit plan design, implementation and administration services to a wide range of businesses and organizations throughout the United States.
Rich earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant, and an active member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
Rich currently resides in Havertown, PA, with his wife Estelle and they have three grown children, Rich, Brian and Laurie and two granddaughters. An avid golfer, Miller enjoys playing golf and is a member of Overbrook Golf Club.
